Perfectly Imperfect: The Art and Soul of Yoga Practice takes readers beyond the foundations of the practice by speaking to everything that happens in their bodies and minds after they get into a yoga pose. That is where the true transformation occurs, and where much rich spiritual and emotional growth is available. Readers will learn how to move through their lives with grace and flow, begin again when a situation becomes difficult, “be a yes” for their innermost desires, give up what they must, follow their intuition, and find their truth north.

Mini Retreat Details

Gather: We'll meet Sundays, July 9, July 23 and August 6 from 4-5:30pm at Shattering Silence Art Sculpture on hill with Iowa Judicial Building 1111 East Court Avenue Des Moines. We'll move to an indoor space if weather is too hot or stormy.

Explore: We'll read a third of the book (approximately 50 small pages) between sessions. We'll come together to practice yoga and chat about our thoughts on the book.

Book Pick Up: Lynn Marie will host an open house in her downtown Des Moines loft for participants to meet and pick up the book on date to be announced. Another date for book pick up may be arranged if there is a scheduling conflict.
